AI Company Terms of Service

These AI Company Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Magpie Standard for licensing creative works for AI training and development purposes.

To use Magpie Standard as an AI Company: - You must register with accurate company information - Designate authorised representatives - Accept these Terms and the API Terms of Use - Complete any required verification processes

When licensing works through Magpie Standard: - Licences are non-exclusive unless explicitly stated - Terms vary by catalogue and society - Licences cover specified use cases (training, commercial, generative) - Usage is tracked via certificate verification

Each licence includes: - A cryptographic certificate listing all licensed ISCCs - API access for real-time verification - Automatic updates when catalogue contents change - Webhook notifications for certificate updates

Payment for licences: - Must be made via Stripe - Supports one-time or subscription billing - Is held until content delivery confirmation - Is non-refundable except as required by law

Licensed works may NOT be: - Used beyond the scope of your licence - Redistributed to third parties - Used to train models that generate replica works - Sublicensed without explicit permission

AI Companies agree to: - Maintain records of ISCC verifications - Allow reasonable audit of usage (with notice) - Report any suspected unauthorised use - Comply with certificate expiry dates

Licences may be terminated: - At the end of the licence period - For breach of these Terms - For non-payment - Upon mutual agreement
